  Can't imagine what else they could have done to make my roommates and I happy. We rented for the academic year from them but had some concerns with the place we rented...so far, they've; -Installed deadbolts on both doors at our requests (it was clear that both had previously been kicked in) -Replaced a faulty burner and later on the entire stove without any questions -Installed an actual carpet strip to replace the strip of tape that was previously holding the carpet down -Installed a second screen door so we could get air flow during the summer Most impressive thing in my opinion was when our toilet was clogged. My roommate called our landlord to report it, and rather than sending a plumber and charging us for the service fee, our landlord came over and took care of it in like 30 seconds. He insisted that it was no problem because he "happened to be in the office". Our lease is also very straightforward and I've yet to feel cheated out of money in any way. If you want reasonable or (wtf?) friendly landlords, Tincher is a good idea.
